5 Reasons Why I Love Poverty

For as long as you can remember you have been told to follow your dreams, pursue your goals and be the best you can be. After all, society deems a person successful by the accomplishments they reach, the type of car they drive, the size of their house, etc. For the average person, this takes a lot of hard work to achieve. Hours in the classroom, financial investment to start a business and time away from friends and family are all spent in an effort to be better and get further in life. And after a closer look at the benefits of living in poverty, that entire mindset of working hard to meet your goals sounds like it may be a scam.

Here are five reasons why I love poverty.

1. No money, no labor – Let’s face it, if you don’t have money it typically comes as a result of not working. So when you live in poverty you can expect to no longer have to set an alarm clock, not have the stress of trying to impress the boss, and can sleep better at night not worrying about a big presentation the next day or your end of month sales reports. Sounds pretty nice, right? Just think of all the free time you will have to finally catch up on those chores around the house and the television shows on in the middle of the workday.

2. The only way is up – Look at the richest people in the world. Do you think they are happy? Probably not when they fret over what it would mean if they lost their fortune. Think of the transformation to your mindset when you know that the only way you can move is upwards. There is no longer a fear of losing some money or your job because you will not have money or a job to stress over. Instead, you can embrace the rock bottom and find comfort in knowing that you no longer have to fear financial failure.

3. Economic depression? What economic depression? – With the news spreading doom and gloom headlines each day about the economy, you can sit back and rest easy knowing that the economic downturn will likely be only a minor blip on your radar. When you have reached poverty, you do not have to worry about going down in economic tier levels. Instead, you can sit right where you are and know that you have no other direction to go. While bankers and millionaires fear for their bank accounts, you can rest easy knowing that yours will be the same tomorrow as it is today.

4. No risk of gluttony – Are you disgusted by this deadly sin like I am? With poverty you do not have ever have to worry about falling victim to gluttonous behavior. Instead, you can sit back and enjoy the fact that you do not have enough to consume to make you a sinner in this way. Living in moderation becomes easy when there is nothing to moderate. You do not have to watch your intake of food or worry about over indulging on an expensive piece of jewelry. In poverty, you can feel good about yourself knowing that you have no choice to but to practice restraint and limit your overall intake.

5. Healthy transformation – While you are limiting your intake and enjoying your wealth of free time (the only thing there is an abundance of in poverty) you can work toward improving your health. Since you will likely not have a car to guzzle up gas as you drive around town, you have the pleasure of walking everywhere instead. In addition, you will be forced to give up unhealthy habits such as smoking and boozing because you will no longer be able to afford cigarettes or alcohol. Why don’t you try vaping, it’s sure is the trend now since a lot of people observed that they can do good savings from this Plus, it’s a very good way to start on the path of quitting to smoke. The natural side effect of putting these harmful activities aside will allow you to result in a healthier body and a lifestyle.

With so many benefits, poverty sounds like a fun social status. No work and all play can make you a better and healthier individual. In a world with no economic concerns, you can avoid stress and sit back relaxed while the world operates around you.
