I probably sound like a broken record, but the way I have my net worth organized it makes it really clear where the gains are coming from. And it’s a testament to the power of compound growth. The impact starts out slow and small but given some time and size the impact is huge. Gaining ~$50k in my retirement accounts in one month is just crazy.
Virtually all of my retirement accounts are in no effort low cost total market stock index funds and it’s almost enough to make me question my trading account. But, I enjoy trading and have had success up until the great Covid19 induced losses of 2020. Still working on recovering from that.
