There are two ways I can look at these numbers and both are true, but they paint different pictures.
#1 My net worth has grown by over $100,000 in the last three months.
#2 My net worth has only grown by $23,000 in the last 6 months.
Perspective matters.
Hi – what drove most of the increase? Was it just increases in stock prices?
Hi Jim,
I contribute monthly to my 401k and Roth IRA, and I trade options in my trading account, but yes, most of the increase can be attributed to the overall market increase.
